What am I worrying about?

By robfrank

Why do baby’s seem so worried? They scrunch their eye brows, wrinkle their foreheads, and let out soft cries as if the burden of the world is just too much.

Today is Baby Gaw’s first full day out of the womb. Take a look.

What, precisely, does she have to worry about? Well, tons, of course, but she doesn’t know that. Or, at least, she shouldn’t. Is it the weight of the world that lies ahead of them? Do they miss the womb? Are they worried about the rumored break-up of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes?

    1. It’s genetic

    2. Her parents have started a blog. In the pre-internet days your parents fussed over you, talked incessently about the cute things you were doing, and took tons of photos that they could show friends and family. It was embarrassing, but the audience was thankfully limited to 20-50 people. Now, through the wonder of the world wide web and the blogosphere your parents can embarrass you to millions of people, many of them complete strangers.

    Hi Clara,

I feel a little like the first of many uncles and aunts chiming in here on your blog. May you have a great life, present your parents with lots of opportunities and do great deeds under your cjgaw.com moniker.

Welcome to blogland, Clara! If they’re anything like mine, your parents cannot be helped. Mine seem to get a huge kick out of documenting my every move, so prepare yourself!
